1st Summer Festival of the Arul Trust eV Association
The first guests arrived promptly at 3 p.m. on July 1, 2023 for the Arul Trust eV summer party in the parish garden in Leimen. They were eagerly awaited by the first and second chairmen of the association, namely Pastor Arul Lourdu and Pastor (retired) Manfred Weida. In wonderful weather and a relaxed atmosphere, members and non-members enjoyed the cozy get-together. They feasted on all kinds of cool drinks and great food from a professional chef (Mr. Kurti): especially his salads and delicious pasta. Homemade waffles with various side dishes found their numerous buyers in the summer temperatures - especially among the children present or as a sweet treat with coffee.
A tombola with a guaranteed prize in every pack of tickets on offer created excitement and unexpected surprises. A specially prepared children's program also provided entertainment and the time flew by. A total of 60 guests ensured a lively attendance and made the summer festival a great success. Since Mr. Laier generously provided the drinks and Mr. Kurti cooked for free and also paid for all the necessary ingredients out of his own pocket, all the proceeds went entirely to the support association and its social projects in India. The picture boards on site provided detailed information about the association's projects that had already been successfully implemented.
We would like to thank Mr Kurti, Mr Laier and Ms Kohl as well as the two other helpers at the tombola and all guests and supporters.
