Why am I involved with "Arul Trust"? – Today: Elisabeth Bader

Today we would like to introduce our club member, Mrs. Elisabeth Bader, from Gauangelloch. Elisabeth Bader lives in Gauangelloch and is involved in the parish team of St. Peter's Church and has been a volunteer in senior citizens' work for many years.

Regarding her membership in the support association “Arul Trust”, Elisabeth Bader says:

"I've had the privilege of traveling to India twice with our former chaplain, Father Pauly. The country and its people truly captivated me. However, I was also deeply saddened by the poverty in which some people live. I was struck by how even the poorest people often managed to retain their joy for life. The gratitude and the shining eyes of children for small things (like a few colored pencils or a pen), things that our youth no longer even notice, have remained vividly in my memory, even after many years."

I was happy to become a member of the Arul Trust eV support association because I have complete confidence that my contributions and donations will reach those in need on the ground. The regular reports also allow me to see how directly and efficiently help is provided.

I am delighted to be part of this work of lived charity.”
